The Lesedi Solar Park Trust recently hosted its second Quarterly Engagement in Danielskuil. These meetings are intended to bring together implementing partners to ensure shared vision and values and to amplify collaboration between organisations.

Partners present on the day included representatives from Flourish, Nal’ibali, SmartStart, NACCW, TIMCA, Wordworks, REAP, Assitej and SCAT, as well as members of the Postmasburg advisory committee to the trust, and Postmasburg community trustee, Brongene Cloete.

Each organisation had the opportunity to present on their program, including progress to date and upcoming events.

Nal’ibali presents on their impact within the community to date.

“Through these engagements we’re seeing a growing understanding of the Trust’s strategy,” explains Sinazo Nkwelo, Program Director of the trust. “People on the ground are understanding not only the bigger picture of what the Trust hopes to achieve through our investment in these communities (namely an end to intergenerational poverty in our communities through the implementation of interventions from pre-conception to career), but, perhaps as importantly, their own roles within this vision.”

Implementing partners enjoy the presentations by their colleagues at the second Lesedi Solar Park Trust quarterly engagement.
